Confucius Temple in Qinhuai Area

Once you are in the Qinhuai area, you may not miss the visit to Nanjing Confucius Temple located at the center of the Qinhuai attraction. The Confucius Temple is for consecrating and worshipping Confucius, the great philosopher and educator of ancient China. You can get a brief and quick look into this glorious figure and the ancient Chinese education, reminiscent the way how scholars are brought in the past time. Nanjing Confucius temple was built in Song Dynasty (AD.1034) and these architecture was ruined and rebuilt for several times during the history. In order to protect the old cultural building, the Chinese Government appropriated funds to rebuild and fix the Confucius Temple. Nowadays it has re-expressed its splendid civilization to the world and has been egarded the special scenery of Nanjing.
